About Amy

After earning my MS in Dietetics from the University of Central Arkansas, I’ve spent 24 years working as a Registered Dietitian in both hospital and community health settings. As an RD and LDN, I blend clinical knowledge with a practical, patient-centered outlook. I'm passionate about helping people build sustainable habits that fit real life. Outside of work you'll find me in pilates class or doing strength training, taking long walks, painting, or out shopping to reset and gather inspiration.

Approach to care

Food and health are personal, and I center evidence-based guidance in a warm, nonjudgmental space. With 24 years as a dietitian I translate nutrition science into clear, practical steps we'll use together. I practice through a Health At Every Size lens, focusing on behaviors and whole-person factors like sleep and stress rather than weight alone. My goal is to educate and empower you, offering direct, actionable strategies that support sustainable change and fit your life.

Your first session with Amy

We'll begin by talking through your nutrition and medical history and what you hope to gain from working together. I'll ask you to walk me through a typical day so we can find realistic places to make change. If you have lab work or biometrics we'll review those together. Expect education, collaborative brainstorming, and a couple of short-term, achievable goals we set together. This is a judgment-free, low-pressure conversation, you do not need to have everything figured out before we meet.
