About Amy
Thirty years as a registered dietitian have taught me that listening is the first step toward lasting change. I hold an MS in Nutrition Science from Marywood University and practice as an LDN, and my career has spanned clinical care, private practice, corporate wellness, research, and community health. Outside of work I love cooking, walking, and continuing to learn about health and behavior. Iām passionate about meeting patients where they are and co-creating very sustainable goals together.
Approach to care
Science guides what I recommend, and empathy shapes how we get there. I use evidence-based strategies while keeping the whole person in view, including mental and emotional health. We'll work in a weight-neutral, behavior-focused way that avoids diet culture and emphasizes practical, actionable steps. My goal is to educate and empower you, so together we build sustainable habits, set clear short-term steps, and adjust plans as life changes, always without judgment.
Your first session with Amy
In that first conversation we'll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics you have, then take a deep, nonjudgmental look at your relationship with food. We'll create a realistic meal plan and establish short-term goals that feel achievable in your daily life. You do not need to have everything figured out before the visit. We'll prioritize what matters most to you and leave with clear, sustainable next steps to try together.
