About Amanda

After 14 years as a Registered Dietitian I still find joy in helping small changes create big improvements. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and have practiced in clinical hospital settings, corporate wellness programs, and community health, which shaped my flexible, practical perspective. As an LD and RD I focus on science-driven strategies that fit real life, with a special interest in helping women balance hormones and feel their best. When I’m not working I enjoy golfing, reading, walking, learning about history, traveling, and spending quality time with my family.

Approach to care

Nutrition care should be practical, compassionate, and rooted in current evidence. I use science to guide clear, actionable steps while keeping our work judgment-free and educational. Weight-neutral principles inform how we set goals, focusing on behaviors, symptoms, and overall wellbeing rather than numbers. We’ll address sleep, stress, and lifestyle alongside food, so the changes we make are sustainable. I’m direct and supportive, and I aim to empower you with knowledge so we can build lasting habits together.

Your first session with Amanda

Expect a relaxed, collaborative conversation where we review your medical history and take a close look at your current eating habits, lifestyle, sleep, and stress. We’ll do a deep dive into your relationship with food, identify patterns that might be contributing to symptoms, and establish short-term, achievable goals together. You don’t need to have everything figured out beforehand. My goal is to make this practical, supportive, and focused on simple steps you can start using right away.
