About Amanda
Nutrition and movement have been my compass for the last eight years, guiding work in hospitals, private practice, and residential, PHP, and IOP eating disorder treatment settings. I earned an M.S. in Nutrition from USC and an M.S. in Exercise Physiology from UCF, and I bring RDN, LDN, CEDS and CSCS training into practical, compassionate care. I use motivational interviewing and trauma-informed principles to walk alongside you rather than dictate. Off the clock you’ll find me exercising, exploring new restaurants, traveling with my fur-babies, or relaxing poolside.
Approach to care
I ground recommendations in current science while honoring the whole person, so our work is evidence-based and human-centered. We will focus on sustainable, behavior-focused changes that fit your life, not on restrictive rules or weight-focused goals. Education matters, so I explain the why behind strategies and offer clear, actionable steps. You’ll find a warm, nonjudgmental space that pairs empathy with direct, practical accountability, so together we build habits that last.
Your first session with Amanda
We’ll begin with a deep, compassionate look at your relationship with food, exploring patterns, food preoccupations or “food noise,” and how you experience your body. I’ll review medical history and current routines, and together we’ll set short-term, manageable goals that feel doable. You don’t need to have all the answers before we meet. This is a low-pressure, judgment-free visit, guided by motivational interviewing and trauma-informed care to help us move at your pace.
