About Alysse
After earning my MS in Dietetics from Montclair State University, I completed my dietetic internship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where I trained across clinical, outpatient, and foodservice rotations. Since graduating, I have worked in eating disorders at The Renfrew Center and in private practice, and now work in a hospital-based adolescent medicine clinic where I help individuals struggling with eating disorders . As an RDN, I help clients rebuild a trusting relationship with food and restore nutritional health in a way that feels realistic and approachable. Outside of work, I enjoy baking, reading, crafting, coloring, staying active, and unwinding with TV and a little shopping.
Approach to care
Evidence guides how I support recovery, combined with empathy and straightforward tools you can use right away. I practice from a Health At Every Size perspective, keeping work weight-neutral and focused on behaviors rather than numbers. We will learn together, translate research into practical steps, and set achievable actions that fit your life. I center the whole person, acknowledging mental, emotional, and physical needs, while challenging food fears and building sustainable habits for long-term well being.
Your first session with Alysse
Expect a calm, judgment-free conversation where we'll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics you have. We'll take time to explore your relationship with food, build rapport, and identify short-term goals that feel realistic for you. I will help create an initial meal plan and outline clear next steps, so you leave with practical tools rather than pressure. You don't need to have everything figured out; we'll work together to make steady, sustainable progress.
