About Ally
Nutrition has been my compass through clinical, sports, and community settings, and after five years as a Registered Dietitian I enjoy blending science with real-life practicality. I earned a BS at the University of Vermont and an MS at Pace University, and I practice in Boston as an RDN. Outside work you'll find me training for my next marathon or triathlon, snowboarding in winter, camping, playing with my puppy, or planning my next trip. Those adventures keep my counseling grounded, active, and full of curiosity.
Approach to care
Science guides my recommendations, and your story guides how we apply them. I draw on current evidence and practical protocols while honoring a weight-neutral, Health At Every Size approach that focuses on behaviors and wellbeing rather than the number on a scale. I'm warm and nonjudgmental, and we'll translate what you need into clear, manageable steps. Education is central to my work, so I explain the why behind each strategy and give straightforward actions we can adapt together for lasting change.
Your first session with Ally
Expect a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where we'll review your medical history and take a deep look at your relationship with food to understand patterns, preferences, and barriers. We'll set one to two short-term goals together so you leave with clear, manageable next steps, not an overwhelming plan. You don't need to have everything figured out before you come, and I'll meet you where you are as we build sustainable habits at a pace that fits your life.
