About Allison

Food has a way of bringing joy and healing, and that belief guides my work. As an RDN with an MS in Applied Nutrition from the University of New England and one year of clinical experience, I’ve worked in hospitals, community health, and sports nutrition. I also supported sport operations and logistics at collegiate and Olympic/Paralympic levels, so I get what it means to fuel for performance. When I’m not working I’m often cooking, training for Hyrox, hiking, paddleboarding, traveling, or doing puzzles. I’m passionate about helping everyday people fall in love with food again and making nutrition part of life at home and on the road.

Approach to care

Science and compassion sit side-by-side in the way I practice. Grounded in current evidence and a Health At Every Size perspective, I focus on behavior change, not weight stigma or short-term fixes. We’ll work together, using clear, practical steps and education so you understand the why behind each strategy. I keep the whole person in view, including emotional and lifestyle factors, and prioritize sustainable, achievable habits that fit your life rather than perfect adherence.

Your first session with Allison

Expect a warm, judgment-free conversation where we’ll review your medical history, any lab work or biometrics you have, and your current routines. We’ll take a thoughtful look at your relationship with food so we can identify what supports you and what creates frustration. Together we’ll set a couple of realistic short-term goals that feel achievable, and we’ll make a plan that you can actually enjoy. You don’t need to have it all figured out before we meet, just come as you are.
