About Alexandria
Growing vegetables in my garden taught me that small, consistent choices add up over time. As an RD with 15 years of experience and training from Central Washington University, I’ve worked in clinical hospital settings, private practice, and spent ten years in a dialysis clinic. I bring a person-centered, practical lens to nutrition. When I’m not working, I’m usually cooking, doing puzzles with family, tending the garden, or leaning on faith for perspective.
Approach to care
Food and health are part of a whole life, not a checklist. I use evidence-based guidance as an RD while honoring Health At Every Size and a weight-neutral lens. Sessions are warm and nonjudgmental, but also direct and action-oriented. Together we’ll translate research into simple, practical steps, using SMART goals and baby steps that foster sustainable change. I teach so you feel confident making choices that fit your life, values, and routines.
Your first session with Alexandria
Expect a relaxed, curiosity-led conversation where we’ll explore your relationship with food and review your medical history. We’ll look at any lab work or biometrics you bring, discuss what matters most to you, and set one or two short-term, realistic goals using SMART principles. You don’t need to have everything figured out ahead of time. We’ll move at a pace that feels manageable and build steps that add up to lasting progress in a judgment-free space.
