About Alexandra
After completing my MS at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, I have spent six years working as a registered dietitian in clinical and hospital settings. I’ve cared for patients in NICU and pediatric nutrition, provided medical nutrition therapy including TPN and EN, supported pediatric and women’s health, and completed remote chart review and documentation. My IFNCP training complements that clinical foundation. Outside of work I’m a mom, a pet lover, an avid cook, and a marathon runner, so I value practical plans that fit busy lives.
Approach to care
I combine clinical precision with an empathetic, whole-person view of health. Grounded in current research and functional nutrition principles, I keep care weight-neutral and behavior-focused, aligned with Health at Every Size. We’ll work together in a judgment-free space to translate evidence into clear, practical steps. I aim to be both warm and direct, setting measurable, sustainable goals while teaching you the skills to maintain long-term change.
Your first session with Alexandra
We’ll begin by reviewing your medical history and any lab work or biometrics you can share, then talk about what’s been working and what feels challenging. Together we’ll identify one or two short-term, achievable goals so you leave with clear next steps. You don’t need to have everything figured out before the visit. I strive to make the conversation low-pressure and collaborative, so we can build realistic, lasting habits that fit your life.
