About Ainsley
I’m a big foodie with a strong passion for sharing my approach to food and nutrition with others. My goal is to help people develop confidence, find more happiness, and feel motivated in their day-to-day lives. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise from Virginia Tech, and a Master of Science in Applied Nutrition and Physical Activity, also from Virginia Tech. By combining personal experience with evidence-based guidance, I help clients improve their health and achieve their goals.
Approach to care
Grounding care in current research, I meet each person with warmth and curiosity. We’ll translate evidence into clear, practical steps that are realistic and sustainable. My counseling is weight-neutral and behavior-focused, free of diet culture, and centered on the whole person, including emotional and lifestyle factors. I provide education, accountability, and direct action items so together we can make long-term changes that fit your life and values.
Your first session with Ainsley
Expect a deep dive into your relationship with food delivered with curiosity and no judgment. We’ll talk through your history, routines, wins, struggles, and goals so I can understand what matters to you. You don’t need to have it all figured out beforehand. Together we’ll pick one or two realistic, evidence-based steps and outline a manageable plan. My aim is to leave you feeling heard, clear on next steps, and supported as we move forward.
